Yes, your first unfiltered ideas and thoughts with no “right” or “wrong” judgement tends to be a great start for doing your Mental, Nutrition, Habit, And Body Practices.

Below are some examples of applying the Obstacles Into Opportunities Mental Practice to areas in life other than health.

RELATIONSHIP EXAMPLE

Write down one relationship (health, relationship, finances, spirituality, etc.) goal you want to accomplish in the next year in a way that best serves your life now.

I want to deeply connect with someone that I feel 100% comfortable sharing all of my emotions and who supports me to be the best version of me using love and joy.

Identify the biggest potential obstacle that would prevent you from achieving that goal 100%.

I feel like it’s hard to meet the “right” person

Identify the story / belief that supported or started that obstacle

People are just different from me and just don’t understand the “real” me.

You are the master of your experiences and you get to choose the meaning of that story.  So, re-write the meaning of the story! Write the story or belief in a way that serves your goal and fuel it with all the resources you need to succeed.

I love how people have different stories and experiences and yet, deep down inside, they share the same emotional desires and fears that I also have. Connecting with them is a practice just like practicing (fill in the blank with something you are great at)

Now, write your goal as if you are grateful for already having achieved it. Include how you feel and the experience of it in detail.

I am grateful for having someone in my life that I can share my biggest joys as well as my biggest fears easily and still feel supported, nurtured, understood, loved, and accepted.

FINANCES EXAMPLE

Write down one finances (health, relationship, finances, spirituality, etc.) goal you want to accomplish in the next year in a way that best serves your life now.

I want to grow my income 2 x without having to “sacrifice” my personal or family time in a fulfilling way.

Identify the biggest potential obstacle that would prevent you from achieving that goal 100%.

I don’t have the knowledge and resources to make this happen

Identify the story / belief that supported or started that obstacle

I am already doing my best and working as hard as I can

You are the master of your experiences and you get to choose the meaning of that story.  So, re-write the meaning of the story! Write the story or belief in a way that serves your goal and fuel it with all the resources you need to succeed.

Drastic improvements can come from doing the most effective thing consistently instead of just hard work. I have the ability to find what that one thing is by using my network, books, online groups, Google, and I am not afraid to ask for help and take the needed actions to get the answers.

Now, write your goal as if you are grateful for already having achieved it. Include how you feel and the experience of it in detail.

I am grateful for doubling my income by using the resources that once I realized I had, I became open to receiving the guidance. From there I just applied my work ethic to that strategy and I experienced a consistent increase in my income.
